An optical dispensary focuses exclusively on servicing your eyewear needs after your eye test. When your eyes are tested by an optometrist, your prescription can be taken anywhere! It is simple, you can request a copy of your script from your optometrist or we can request it on your behalf. Easy!
As eyewear is our central focus, we pride ourselves on the attention to detail and service we offer each and every customer. You will never be seen as a number and made to feel rushed. We stock an extensive range of frames to suit every taste, style and budget. Depending on your needs, we do offer little or no out of pocket. Most health funds are claimable in store. Oxipay is also available.

We have the ONLY onsite lens fitting lab in Tasmania. Being an independent allows us to access a vast range of lens designs and styles. We are proud to offer 1 hour service for most single vision reading and distance specs as we have an extensive range of lenses in stock.
Our multi-focal lenses are manufactured in Australia by CR Surfacing. Proudly family owned and operated, CR Surfacing is one of the last independent lens surfacing labs in the country. Manufacturing among the most technically advanced, German designed lenses, on the market today.
We also offer:
re-edging of own lenses into new frame
fitting new lenses to your current frame or new frame
new sunglass lenses (non-polarised and polarised) with or without prescription. Mirror coating also available.
non-prescription lenses to block blue light absorption
rimless fitting and repairs
